providing services Canada wide, to job seekers, and companies, primarily in Alberta’s oil and gas sector.
She is a Registered Professional Recruiter, Certified Professional Résumé Writer, and holds a Bachelor’s
degree in Human Services. She is an experienced counsellor with a strong background in social work.

Joy's 10+ years of consulting experience spans 4 key areas: career and employment advising, recruitment
practices, résumé development and facilitating diverse adult learner groups in person and online. Industry
career advising experience: Education, Health, Manufacturing, Construction, Government,
Telecommunications, Engineering, Geosciences, and Oil and Gas. She has worked successfully with job
seekers from Blue Collar through to Executive and C Suite Level candidates.

Behind the scenes, Joy has completed numerous candidate résumé development projects on behalf of
various Alberta recruitment firms, so that their candidates can be shown in their best possible light to
potential employers. As a former Instructor at Bow Valley College at the Chiu School of Business, Joy
taught and developed employment preparation courses, which include: networking and job search skills,
résumé and cover letter writing, interview skills and LinkedIn profile development, to a variety of soon to be
graduating students.
