Denitresse Ferrell

Denitresse Ferrell is the Founder and CEO of DF Coaching & Consulting, a boutique consulting firm specializing coaching, professional development, and diversity and inclusion. Through powerful coaching and strategy engagements, her firm helps professionals and businesses develop plans that transform.

Born in North Carolina and raised between California and Maryland, Denitresse now calls Holly Springs, NC home. She holds a Brain Based Coaching Certification through the NeuroLeadership Institute, a Bachelor’s in Finance from Morgan State University, and an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. During her nearly two decades in the corporate world, she’s worked for Fortune 100 and 500 companies including John Deere, Citigroup Smith Barney and Merrill Lynch. A transition strategist and pivot master, Denitresse has held high impact roles across multiple functions including finance, public affairs, digital marketing, supply chain, operations, process improvement and strategy. Denitresse has a passion for empowering minorities. She has over a decade of diversity and inclusion experience, having led numerous affinity groups and diversity recruiting initiatives. Additionally, Denitresse is both an alumni and professional development coach for Management Leadership for Tomorrow, a national non-profit committed to increasing the representation of minorities in the C-Suite of Corporate America.

Denitresse also sits on the board of Simply Girls, Inc., a local non-profit dedicated to empowering girls to be smart, healthy, strong, bold and proud. In her free time, you can find Denitresse musing on the restorative and revolutionary powers of rest while simultaneously chasing her super active toddler.
