Nancy is a talented Resume Writer who is passionate about helping job seekers take the next step in their career journey. She has five years of experience writing resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles for entry to executive level clients in a variety of industries. Drawing on her HR/Recruiting background and wordsmithing abilities, Nancy creates job-winning documents that meet and exceed customer expectations.    

Her entry into HR was as an Associate in the HR Help Center at Capital One. From there, she transitioned to the Commonwealth of Virginia and worked at several state agencies. While her responsibilities included the full spectrum of HR, her specialty was leading recruitment processes from start to finish. 

In 2018, Nancy earned a Master of Psychology degree with a concentration in Organizational Psychology from the University of Phoenix. She has a Bachelor’s degree with a major in Human Resource Management from the University of Richmond. Her credentials include Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Society of Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). She volunteers as a Driver and Adventures in Learning (AIL) Instructor for the Shepherd’s Center which is a non-profit dedicated to enriching the lives of senior adults. 

Originally from the Philadelphia area, Nancy relocated to Virginia in 1997. She lives in Midlothian, VA with her partner David and their two Labradoodles, Bailey and Libby. She has one daughter who graduated recently from the College of William and Mary and is now a teacher.
